LIUNA Local 292 to Host Contractor Luncheon

Washington workforce shortage increases, Laborers’ Union fulfills needs.

Laborers’ Local 292 will be hosting its first contractor luncheon as a way to bring the construction community together and educate their audience on the benefits of being affiliated with the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA).

As Washington construction is booming, so has the need for skilled laborers and apprentices. The Laborers have taken the initiative at recruitment and networking events, such as the luncheon, to highlight the importance of how LIUNA can provide good paying jobs with a pension and health benefits to workers and the safest, most skilled construction craft laborers to signatory contractors.
